Wooohooo, have you seen? There are some AMAZING new stamps from Visible Image :)
To celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Wizard of OZ (one of my all time favourites) They have released a fantastic range of 6 stamp sets. Not only is there a main character in each set, but there are lots of additional stamps too and I think i'm just as excited to play with those too...hehe...
I am very proud to say, I was lucky enough to be asked to colour each main character for the stamp packaging, head over to the online store to take a peek :)
But here they are so you can take a peek now :)
There is the Dorothy card above, I have made an easel card and have tried to make it look as though she is walking down the yellow brick road ;p
All of the flowers except the diamond ones are made by moi, and i stuck with white/pale tones as thats the colour the flowers were next to the pathway at that exact point i was watching the film...hehe...Dorothy's clothes are all paper pieced, just so you can see that even if you don't like colouring, there are other ways to fill the areas and they are easy to cut :)
My last sample was made using the Scarecrow set (I love this little guy!) I created a bendy card and made the scene look like a cornfield. The birds are from the Dorothy Set and the cloud is the speech bubble just stamped and cut out. These are mounted to the card using acetate.
Mr. Scarecrows hair and any other tufts of straw are all made out of twine. The little corn heads are all made from a yellow perfect pearls and so are raised/textured.
On the inside of the card, once opened out fully is the sentiment stamped into the speech bubble.
Hope you like them :)
