It's challenge time again at Craft you Passion and this week its Thanksgiving / Give Thanks. Our sponsor the week is the wonderful Sugar Kissed Cottage.
I got to use this fab image 'Gardening Girl' and as soon as I saw her, I knew she would be perfect for a vintage style project.
I decided to create a tag for a change and what a perfect way to say thanks, a little gift with a gorgeous tag attached!
This is the front and back of my tag.
I cut all of my tag layers out with the silhouette, with a tag cut file that I adapted to be how I wanted it.
The main central layer was out of chipboard, the back and front script layers, were printed and then cut from my PC, on printer paper, along with the digi image.
All layers were distressed with Vintage Photo Distress ink and my image was coloured in neutral colours, with Promarkers.
I stained some tea roses, some literally with tea...hehe....and some with distress ink (Just so they weren't all the same) and hot glued them to my tag.
On the front of the tag, I ruffled some ribbon behind the image and on the back I edged the script layer with the same ribbon (its hard to see it in the photo, but it adds a nice little shimmery edge).
And as the above photo says 'Thank You' - for stopping by :)
