Well its challenge time at Craft Your Passion This week the theme is 'Anything but square cards'. But sadly, this will be my last challenge with CYP :(

Remember a little while ago I said I would be stepping down from a couple of teams, well sadly this is one of them. All of the ladies on the CYP team are amazingly talented and all made me feel very welcome and comfortable. They have all been encouraging and supportive too. I must say a big thanks to Lisa who does lots of organising and work behind the scenes and who has been amazingly supportive and understanding to my reasons for leaving. BIG HUGS ladies, thank you for everything and I will be sure to be popping by to say hi :) xx

I wish the new DT members the best of luck, I am sure you will love all of the team.

Anyway onto the challenge. Our sponsors this week are the amazing 'Doodle Pantry'

I used the adorable image Quirky Lizard for this card. As always with Doodle Pantry you get much more for your money than just an image and this little fella was no different, along with him came some sentiments, some papers and a coloured and non coloured version of the image itself :)

For a change I decided not to colour the image myself!! He just looked so cute in his already coloured state, that I thought he was perfect as he was.

I used my silhouette to cut him out as if he was hanging from tree branches, with the tree trunks as the sides/stands and I added a sentiment underneath him.

I just printed out two rectangle sections in a matching colour to his branch and then over stamped them with a home made wood effect stamp. Yes I finally got around to playing with my stamp maker and wowie its fun :)

Don't forget to come visit us over at CYP :)
Materials used:
Home made wood effect stamp
Doodle Pantry image - Quirky Lizard
White card
Distress ink - Antique Linen
