Good morning all :)
How is everyone? What glorious weather we have been having here in the UK :) We finally got our patio furniture ordered, so our shiny new (well newish..hehe) patio will soon be a place to lounge and relax, I'm soooo excited.
Have you had a chance to check out the fab new website for Visible Image Stamps even if you popped over before, its worth popping back, its being updated all the time at present and is fabulously interactive.
For my little bit of DT inspiration this week, I have used just the rose from Isabella lost love set, you can also buy the roses separately HERE. I also had a play with some glass paint i managed to pick up as a bargain!
Firstly I stamped the rose onto a piece of paper and then stuck it ink side down, onto a clear plastic file (you know the kind you put your paper in binders with).
I turned the file over and I could then see the rose through it.
Using my black glass paint first, I drew around all black outlines (not including the tiny bits of detail as the paint was to thick for this). I then took red glass paint and filled in the inside of the rose, I tried to make it slightly heavier in places to give it a bit of depth/shading.
Once it was completely dry, I very gently peeled it off from the clear file. The glass paint when dry, turns into a rubbery type material that adheres to any glass or plastic!!
So above it is on a window and below, on a drinking glass :)
Hope you like it, it really was quite different to use/do
