VISIBLE IMAGE - DRAGONFLIES FOR MUM


Happy Sunday everyone :) How are you all this weekend? 

If you're in the UK you've probably been sweltering in this baking heat, erghh...Far to hot for me :(

Today is my weekly post for Visible Image Stamps 

This week I have used my gorgeous Dragonfly stamp to create a card for my mums birthday :)



This stamp is truly stunning, the detail is out of this world and as with all of the stamps it stamps a dream every time. Other than the Goldy brown dragonfly, all of the others were stamped and then inked with the background, as I really wanted just the one to stand out. I did however clear emboss the wings of these too, not sure if you can see their shine in the pic?

I used a few other stamps too, one being the word 'Love' from Isabella lost love set, I just wiped my versamark off the flourish on the 'L' before stamping, purely because I needed the word to be a little shorter :)



And the other was the script stamp from the brand new Revolution set. This stamp is so versatile, it looks gorgeous used as the script it is and it repeats seamlessly, but it also lends itself perfectly to using for random fill patterns.

Hopefully in this photo you can see that the gold Dragonfly is 3D :)

Peacock Feather & Vintage photo Distress inks
Clear and metallic embossing powders
Black archival ink
Gold mica powder
Centura Pearl and black card
