Its that time of month again for my DT post for Crafting Cafe and to host the blog over there today too :)
Our sponsors this month are Lacy Sunshine and our fab theme is 'Feeling Fruity' (This can be fruity colours or cards containing fruit images).
We were very lucky to be able to pick an image from the online store and this was no easy task as all of the images are so wonderful.
I decided to use the image 'Wilkes the Pirate and Parrot Whiskey' as I think its such a great image and great for a kids card and as I've decided to use fruity colours rather than a fruity image, I thought these would be best suited for a children's card :)
I have used a treasure map background layer and cut out some little pirate clothes on a washing line. These plus the words and a few stripes on Wilkes are all glittery and shiny.
The image is coloured with Promarkers, what do you think of the wooden barrel? I added all the texture and wood grain and was really pleased with how this came out :)
Don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's projects that have been and will be displayed throughout the month
