Hey everyone :) How are you all? Have you been having all these winds? Wow I can't believe how windy and rainy it has been here. I feel for all those in countries hit by these winds etc when they were at full force :(
OK so today isn't normally my day to post for Visible Image Stamps but the wonderful Kim Robertson has an awful lot on her plate right now and for once i'm actually organised and already had my project done early..lol...So we swapped :) You can catch her fabby post on my normal day of Sunday :)
I recently saw an inky card that I loved (but I can't remember where, sorry :(, (so please anyone shout if you have seen similar so I can give credit) and this is my adapted version of it, using the INKognito flower and the Live the Life sentiment stamp
I recently saw an inky card that I loved (but I can't remember where, sorry :(, (so please anyone shout if you have seen similar so I can give credit) and this is my adapted version of it, using the INKognito flower and the Live the Life sentiment stamp
1. Firstly I stamped the flower across the bottom of the card in a very pale orange ink.
2. I then used a brighter/darker orange distress ink and painted gentle flicks across the petals to enhance the colour and definition. I also added a few spots to the centre spots too.
3. I then used the same distress ink to flick drops over the card, along with a few peeled paint green distress ink drops. I focused more towards the top of the card to balance out the flowers at the bottom.
4. I stamped the sentiment in black Archival ink.
5. Around the edge of the card, I hand drew a black line with a Letraset fineliner and ruler.
6. Lastly I highlighted the sentiments black ink with a white gel pen.
