Today I have a very excited post for the fabby Polkadoodles :)
Recently I was very lucky to have some of my samples shown on Create and Craft TV :)
And although before now they were top secret (ooo I feel like a secret agent ;p) I am now able to share them, yay. (So expect to see them appearing here and there on my blog)
Firstly can I just say I love, love this CD, so festive and soooooo cute. The characters, the embellishments, the papers!
Well my first share is my snowglobe card. This card is a mix of pre-coloured digis and actual colouring.
The snowglobe shape is a silhouette cut file adjusted so that I could create a shaker card and the sentiment on the globe base and inside and the papers used throughout are all from the Festive Hollybobs CD.
The gorgeous little girl posting her Christmas letter is also from the CD (as are all the images used for this card) She was printed out in black and white and coloured with Promarkers.
The globe face is made from two pieces of acetate, cut to fit and filled with foam balls, the kind you get in bean bag seats :)
The background scene was created by merging various pre-coloured digi's from the CD and a little depth was added by using my promarkers to add some shadows.
