Hey everyone :) How are you all this windy weekend?
Today is my weekly post for Visible Image Stamps.
Well its nearly that time of year when everyone gets all mushy and lovey dovey hehe, so very unlike me, I decided to be organised enough to get hubby's card done nice and early (more like I got so caught up in all my other crafty endeavours before Christmas that I didn't even make or get him a card!) So I don't want to forget this time hehe. Especially as the anniversary of the day we started dating is also just a few days before the big V.
I used a fab quote from 'The Wizard of OZ' (the wizard said it to the Tin man) and created it as script in all different size and style fonts. I printed this onto some script paper, distressed the edges with black soot distress ink and mounted it onto Kraft cardstock, leaving a slight border.
Before all this, I had coloured in the wonderful Tin Man stamp from Visible Image
I coloured him in blue, so that he would pop from the background.
He is of course coloured with my fave colouring medium, Promarkers
If you haven't joined the facebook group yet you may want to, so that you can keep up to date with all the latest news and releases :) Including the stunning new romantic releases in time for Valentines.
Don't forget to check out the blog for more amazing DT inspiration.
Don't forget our 'Show & Tell' in our FB Group, where there's a chance to win some amazing Visible Image goodies.

Love it! Such a loving card, while still being masculine enough to give to hubby! I suppose I should think about making one for my hubby soon, though I don't know why I bother sometimes (because 5 minutes after I've given it to him it's had a coffee mug put on it, has fallen on the floor and been trampled on and has ended up kicked underneath the sofa... *sigh*). x
ReplyDeleteThanks Hun. Awwww that's not good at all :( I probably wouldn't make one if that's what happens :( give your hubby a pike and tell him I said he must treasure your amazing work, hugs xx
