I have a few 'occasions' fast approaching, so I thought I'd actually try and get ahead of myself and start a few cards now.
I'm sure that means I'll be leaving something else to the last minute, but then what's different!?...Hehe....
One of the occasions is my wedding anniversary and as its the 6th year, one of the modern interpretations is 'candy'. Yum, can't wait, hope he gets me lots of sweets...hehe...
Anyway I coloured this little fella not too long ago and thought he would be perfect on a card for my hubby as he's eating a 'candy' heart! Along with the sentiment above his head, it made perfect sense for a 'candy' Anniversary.
When I coloured him I chose to colour the heart in pink, not red as I felt red, along with the brown of the bear, may make the image look a little dark and heavy.
All I had to do was pick some nice papers and put the card together.
I decided to use this sketch from 'Here come the boys'
I went for some nice turquoisey blues to contrast the pink heart and Liked the colour so much, I followed it throughout the card layers.
I popped on a few sentiments and of course some kisses ;p and the card was finished.
I hope hubby likes it
