MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU...

Here's the second birthday card I did for hubby.

This one was from me (well I hope so, since it says husband on the front!!...lol)

You wouldn't know it to look at him, but he's a closet Star Wars fan. He grew up with Star Wars and we have a loft that looks a bit like a Star Wars toy and model shop...lol

So when I stumbled across this image from MazyArt I knew it would be perfect. Its so hard creating masculine cards, unless I want to do a car one each time, so to find an image for something he loves is great :)

I printed the digi image and coloured with promarkers. Then I fussy cut the images ready to pop on the front.

There are two detailed layers of paper, one is of Star Wars character portraits and the other is the recognisable Star Wars title writing. Neither were blue, but I altered them to all be matching.

These are both matted on light blue card, the same as the words are. I used a Star Wars font for the words and made them light blue too, I think they look quite like the real thing!

All the layers were popped together onto the front of the card. I added a couple of matching blue pearls either side of the 'husband' as I just felt it needed a little something.

Materials Used

Promarkers
Mazyrts digi image
Star Wars backing papers X2
Light blue card from stash
Blue pearls from stash

    1. Hehe Dora, yes I guess it could also be mr and mrs smith :) Although I'm not sure the Princess Leia bun styled hair would suit Angelina Jolie :p x
