CYP - GIRLY GIRL

Its challenge at Craft Your Passion and this week the theme is 'Girly Girl'.

Our sponsors this week are the gorgeous 'Crafty Sentiments' and I used the image, Tess summer fun for my card.

To make it nice and girly, I decided to add some nice big flowers and add lots of bright summery colours.

Tess and the flowers surrounding her are coloured using Promarkers. The sunburst central background has been made using a mask (cut with my silhouette), a sprayer and my promarkers and I have tried to graduate out the colour.

The purple and orange flowers were cut using the silhouette and then coloured with water and a mix of distress inks (they were originally white card). They were curled and glued once dry :)

The turquoise flower is made from a piece of wide ribbon and believe it or not, the centre is a blob of glue, that melted from my hot glue gun and formed on my glass mat and cooled to leave a smooth circle! Something I would normally scrape off and throw away!

The yellow flower was cut out of a slightly patterned, light yellow paper using a bigz die, and was then shaped and inked around the edges.

I have tried to match all 4 flowers with the flowers behind Tess.

Either side of the centre background is a piece of DP, rounded and inked and some gold glitter dots have been put along the corners.

I popped on a little pre-cut tag that was a freebie from a magazine some time ago and she was finished :)
