CYP LOVE IS IN THE AIR

It's time for this weeks challenge at Craft Your Passion and this week the theme is 'Love is in the air'.

Our sponsor this week is the fabulous A day for daisies. I used ''Ducks in a row'' and I coloured them with promarkers. If you look really close, you can see I've tried to give the slight effect of feathers, but it doesn't show up to well in the photos!

I added some sitckles to some of the dandelions, just to give the card a little sparkle and a bit of dimension, again this doesn't show up too well in the photos lol (not doing too well am I ! Lol)

I distressed a white piece of card for the images mat and then layered this onto some dotty DP, which was edged with spiced marmalade distress ink.

The sentiment was printed out, along with the mats behind it and I used two different fonts to create it.

I popped a little printed ribbon tail in the corner, to help fill the card.

I tried to match the egg shell on the right to the DP since it also had spots :)

I hope you find these little guys as cute as I do :p

  1. Awwww, Sam, what an adorable duckling family. Fab design and I can see the feather effect and the Stickles so don't worry! Love that you used a DL card as it's perfect for your image. I seem to be stuck in a bit of a 6x6" rut myself! :D xx

    1. Lol, i print an image the size i think would look good and then once i've decided what else is going on it (not a lot normally lol) I size my card around it (I don't tend to use pre-made cardstock) Although a lot of the time they end up the same size and shape roughly...lol x
