ONE FOR THE BOYS - CRAFTING CAFE

Its the time of month for my DT post for Crafting Cafe and to host the blog over there today too :) 

Our wonderful sponsors this month, are KennyK & Delicious Doodles   

I used Cool Trucker from KennyK and he was coloured using Promarkers.

I used a DP that was like a city scape, so it would give the impression of him driving through the city

One side is white and the other black. To add a bit more colour I dyed one of the white sides with Distress ink so that it became a reddish colour.

I then added some fishtail banners in the two neutral colours and popped a contrasting coloured brad at the top of each. I also popped one at the bottom of the card as I felt that space needed filling.

I choose to use the sentiment 'this is happiness' - So this card could be for a few occasions and this character certainly seems to be happy driving about! I also have quite a few friends that love nothing more than driving in their car, so this to them would be happiness ;p

I added the sentiment tag using brads as I felt this gave it a more masculine look (can you tell I finally got a Cropadile!! Lol)
