Hey all :) I hope everyone had a great week and weekend.
I'm back with my another creation for Visible Image Stamps. This time around, for a bit of fun (kindly or should I say crazily suggested by Sue lol) the DT challenged each other to use certain stamps, or colour schemes etc
Cathi picked my theme which was brown and blue and vintage.
I used the rose from the Isabella Lost Love set, but you can also get a large and small rose as a pair on their own - Roses
I created a rose bouquet using this stamp, archival ink and some simple masking. Using the flower head and stem from the thankyou set, I created the spray bits in the background and the rose stems.
I used alcohol ink mixed with water to paint the roses and give the nice washed out look, I then used it mixed with a little less water to add in some shade.
I die cut some shapes, out of cream card to make a large flower and distressed the edges.
Each paper layer was distressed around the edge, including the vase.
Some pearls in the corners and used to create a swirl and it was all done :) I hope Cathi likes my take on her theme.
Don't forget to check out the blog for more amazing DT inspiration.
