Its Tuesday and that means its challenge time over at Top Tip Tuesday. This fortnight the theme is 'Magical', so that can be fairies and dragons etc etc.
Don't forget to check out our wonderful guest designers card :)

Tip - Don't forget to rummage through your 'bits' box, as you might be surprised what you find :) Take this little fella, I actually coloured him in and mounted him on his painted layer some months ago and he has just sat in my bits box until now! I know my colouring has changed a bit since then, but I still think he makes a great card :)
Our sponsor this fortnight is Whimsy Stamps but we were able to pick our own images for this challenge, so the image I used is from the Treasured Friend set, from Tiddlyinks
I mounted him onto some green cardstock to help make him pop more and distressed the edges. I used my scrummy new Tim Holtz notebook embossing folder to emboss some Centura Pearl for the background layer and then distressed this too, adding a few little splats here and there.
The strip down the side is a bit of washi tape, I rarely use this stuff, but it seemed to fill the gap nicely.
The happy birthday was stamped onto a little scrap piece of DP and distressed, the stamp I used has a nice distressed font too. A little card board heart coloured in grey in the corner and it was finished :)
