ARTBYMIRAN - BACK TO SCHOOL SKETCH CARD

Morning all, it's my turn to host the Artbymiran Blog today.

This months theme is back to school, so I would like to share a card I made using the fab images Smart Samantha and Bookaholic Katie

I wanted to make the whole thing look like it was sketched and also as in the UK we don't celebrate back to school the same way as a lot of other countries do, I wanted to make it a card I could still use, so I added the words Happy Birthday in sketchy writing to :)

I printed the lines of the images out very faintly onto this wonderful notebook paper and then used a fine liner to create all the sketchy lines around the images. I then used a little bit of pencil in a few areas to add a bit of shading.

A back to school  circle, a paper clip painted to match and a cute little book and it was all done :) Hope you like it.
