Today is my post for Chocolate, Coffee and Cards and our sponsor this fortnight is the amazing Scribbles Designs
The image I used is Tropical Fish 7 and the row I have used is the top one - Die cut / Pearls / Colour Yellow.
This image is so fun that i wanted to colour it some nice bright colours and of course incorporate the yellow. The fish is coloured with my trusty promarkers and I have tried to add some dimension and a bit of texture.
This is the original image and this is the coloured image, what do you think?

I used a shell die cut shape to make my card. The little tiny blue bubbles are ivory pearls that I coloured with my promarkers to go more with the sea theme.
The seaweed is highlighted with two different shades of wink of stella greens, so in real it is very shiny and glimmery, perfect for a child :)
The little rocks are also coloured with wink of stella and really sparkly. I decided to pop the name of the little boy this is for on the front and distressed the banner it is on, so that it looked a bit sea washed :)
I added a fishy birthday sentiment to the bottom section and used a font called 'cocktail' that created little bubbles around some of the letters, which i then highlighted with stickles. All around the sentiment oval i used yellow liquid pearls, just to add a bit more shine and help the sentiment section stand out a little more.
I really hope you come visit us at CC&CC and play along with our challenge, I can't wait to see everyone's creations. Don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's projects, wowie they are fab :)
Thankyou for taking the time to look :)
