This is a quick(ish) post for a card I had to make on the quick. My SIL recently waited all day in the hospital for an op, just for them to cancel on her, but she has now been in at short notice and has had it done, So I needed to make a quick card just to let her know she is in our thoughts.
I haven't coloured a Tiddly Inks image for a long time and I must say I'm missing them...hehe...So I decided to bring out this little fella. Tiddly Inks also have a CAS challenge going on and I would love to enter, so a quick CAS card it was!
I have coloured him with Promarkers and in a new style. This was my first try at this technique and its meant to make his scales look textured. I would normally colour him a more olive colour, but as he is meant to be cheering my SIL up, I choose to colour him nice and brightly.
I have never used twine before on my cards, but have had some sitting in my stash hiding for some time now! Annette from Nettys cards, uses twine on her stunning CAS cards and so this inspired me to finally use some of the twine I have laying about.
I popped a couple of beads on the end of the twine and stamped a sentiment in the corner and Voila....Finished.... :)

Thankfully my SIL loved him as much as I do.
Thanks for looking
