We had two wonderful new digis to play with, Romeo and Juliet, how perfect for the theme. I like most of the DT hehe...Couldn't resist using both of these beautiful images.
As my new craft room is now actually starting to be used (well lots of cardboard and bits piled up in there lol) I have decided that I need to make a few things to pop on the walls to brighten it up :)
So this was my first attempt at a shadow box and I'm sure it won't be my last, as it was fun to make and I know it can be so versatile. I decided to use the two images to create a scene within the shadow box.

I created a brick/stone effect wall using my promarkers and a stencil I cut using my silhouette

I raised the outer edge of the window panels with 3D foam pads, to give the window more depth
This is Juliet (her full digi is sitting on a chair, I just used the top portion of her)
& this is Romeo....Adorable aren't they? :)
The plants are cut using the silhouette and coloured with different shades of promarkers. I also added some stickles here and there to add a bit more detail and look like little flower buds.
This is my shadow box from the side.
