-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This week I am using one of the fantastic single colour Promarker blending sets from Letraset. You get 5 different shades of the colour and a blender pen.

These blending sets are fantastic sets as all the work of picking the right colours to blend, is done for you.

Using this adorable Tiddlyinks Dragon, I will show how to create a shiny effect

A scaled textured effect with a soft look

And a more defined scale. (Same as the soft look but without using the blender pen!)

To help keep the video shorter some of the colouring is sped up :)

The card I use for my colouring projects can be found HERE: Marker Card

You can find it on you tube HERE or on the official Letraset channel HERE
or you can of course watch it below :)

Hope you have found this video useful and I hope you will enter my fab giveaway.

    1. Hi Josie :) Nope the blender does not need cleaning after each use. You will find it doesn't really pick up much colour, unless you have a lot laid down, in which case it may tint the end slightly, If you are moving onto another colour and are worried the blender may transfer colour, just squiggle the blender onto some scrap paper until it comes out clear again. :) Hope this helps xx

  2. I certainly need more practice at the blending - you have done a great job!

  3. Another fab tutorial, thanks Sam! I've completely changed my colouring style since I watched your last vid, and the difference is HUGE! Just using the fine nibs makes so much difference (to my bank balance too, as I only had 3, so needed to do a mass order! lol). x

    1. Hehehe thanks Sammy, so glad the vids are proving useful :) Hehehe sorrryyyyy about the nibs lol...I was the same, when I first used them I only had three and it became a mission to get as many as poss hehe. I still don't have a nib for every pen, but I do have a lot lol, but as I can swap them between pens, I can wait until I get a few more :) If you try this technique with the nibs on, you get even more texture, just bear in mind it will take longer to fill an area :) hugs xx
