POLKA DOT PALS - JAIME

I have recently discovered the wonderful world of LittleMissMuffet stamps. And decided to make this cute little card using one of their images - Polka Dot Pals - Jaime

I also used the little Ladybug by her foot to create the background layer that she is on using the Silhouette software.

I coloured Jaime in using Promarkers and created the flower embellishments using my new Bigshot and some of the framelit dies. 

I made the flowers complete opposites of each other, right down to the flower centres, where one is shiny and one is matt. I also tried to match the colour of the flowers Jaime is holding, to those on the card :)

For my card itself I used pre-folded cream card stock, I added a white doily that matched the scalloped edges of the Ladybug mat - a red centre strip, with just a slight edge of shiny black card on show, (just to help the centre strip stand out) - then the ladybug mat - then my cute character and the birthday sentiment that I had added. 

After doing all this I popped on my flowers and a couple of little pearls and I couldn't resist making a shiny, sparkly glitter embossed Ladybug to sit in the corner of the card! (The photo does him no justice, he truly does sparkle :)
