MILKCOFFEE FAIRYTALES (PRINCESSES ETC) DT CHALLENGE CARD

This week is time for a new milkcoffee challenge and the theme is fairytales (princesses etc), why not come over and join us for the fun? :)

I was lucky enough to get to use this fabulous image of Tiffany in wonderland

You may remember not long ago, I did an Alice card for my daughters friend and it was very vintagey (I know not a real word lol my husband often laughs at me for making up my own words hehe)  So it was great fun to be able to do another Alice card but this time a very different card, nice and colourful.

Tiffany was coloured using Promarkers. I thought she looked like her hand was pushed against something, so I thought 'why not the glass of a bottle?'
So that's what I did, I put Tiffany into a bottle, after all, there was the 'drink me' bottle in Alice in Wonderland so it fitted perfectly as a theme.

On the edge of the bottle I have used Tim Holtz tumbled glass distress ink, just to try and give a bit of depth and more the effect of glass. Sadly the blue ink hasn't shown up to well in the photos, but hopefully you get the idea :)

I then popped on a couple of distressed tags, one to go with the theme of the card and one with a sentiment and then attached a green cord tassel.

Materials used:

Promarkers
Milkcoffee image - Tiffany in wonderland
White card
Tumbled Glass distress ink
Walnut distress ink
Green Tassel from empty Bubble bath bottle!

Don't forget to come and check out the challenge and all the wonderful DT work. Why not stop by the shop and see what other adorable images are available :)
